Casa Ciosse – Acqui terme/Grognardo
Casa Ciosse: high above Grognardo in the Piëmonte, looking over the village and the valley, lays Casa Ciosse. Builded on the remainings of an old monestery from 1715. The house is renieuwed in 1856 and recently equipped with all the comfort needed in the 21e century. Surrounded by vineyards and old castles. Here we like to welcome you in our B&B rooms or B&B room + with comfort, or with a shelter on our yard having your own bathroom and refrigirator. Having a horse stable, your horse is also welcome. Golfplayers, Piëmont is the golf regio of Itality.
Who are we ? We are Elio and Cicci, both retired, having worked for many years in the tourism sector, we speak English, and we do know what hospitality means.
- At your arrival we welcome you with a prosecco and you will receive a map/road map with information about the environment and activities.
- Except breakfasts you can use the pranzo (lunch) or the cena (dinner) at our house.
- You will receive a route description at the booking confirmation.
- We can be reached via a paved road, you can park your car on our own yard.
- Special wishes, addresses of nice wines/winemakers (my brother-in-law, oenologist would certainly help) or otherwise, please let us know, we like to help you finding the right spot.
- Booking/reservation or questions you can set in Dutch/Flemish/English they are answered by our Dutch friends of Casa Vecchia, Harrie and Martje, who live near us. Look for our environment even on their site page what to do.
- With a whole family? Ask for a tailor-made arrangement, we have the space and the possibilities!.

2 nachten B &B gehad wat een belevenis was in een leuke ouderwetse kamer, met een klein keukentje en een prima badkamer. Daarna nog 5 nachten op een prachtige kampeerplek bij ze gestaan, waar ze zelfs een keer een kopje koffie voor ons kwamen brengen. De gastvrijheid en verzorging van Elio en Cicci is hartverwarmend. Cicci haar grote passie is koken en dat is te proeven ook. Heerlijk gegeten! Een onvergetelijke plek om geweest te zijn.

Een geweldige en rustige plek, met ontzettend aardige eigenaren en familie die behulpzaam zijn en heel lekker kunnen koken.
De omgeving biedt goede fiets- en wandelmogelijkheden. En ook steden als Genua, Turijn en Milaan zijn goed bereikbaar.

27-06-2014 Wij vertoefden 3 weken bij de prachtige casa Ciosse, Elio en Cicci (ze spreken Engels) deden alles om het ons naar de zin te maken. Lekker vers eitje, kopje koffie, gezellig praatje, nooit opdringerig. We hadden een eigen badkamer en een koelkast. Er zijn 2 grote kampeerplekken, 1 onder de bomen op het topje en 1 met veel zon.
Heel fijn is ook casa Vecchia van Martje en Harrie Boersma, ze wonen een paar km hoger op de berg. Zij hebben ook 2 kampeerplekken maar ook 3 geweldig mooie appartementen, zie hun website. Voor de hardlopers:Allessandria, 15 minuten rijden heeft een fijne trimbaan van 1.9 km. Wandelen, hardlopen, ideaal, daarna lekker picknicken in het gras met op de achtergrond het aquaduct.
We "pakten" elke week een grote stad: Genua, heel idyllisch met z'n nauwe straatjes en mooie haven, Turijn met zijn fantastische filmmuseum en Milaan met Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. We hebben deze vakantie alleen maar genoten. Nogmaals de genoemde kampeeradresjes zijn uniek!!

In 48 jaar kamperen nog nooit zo'n mooie kampeerplek qua uitzicht gehad, kijkend over 3 valleien. De gastheer en -vrouw zijn schatten en stellen alles in het werk om de vakantie te laten slagen. We hebben heerlijk meegegeten van de zelf gekweekte groenten en konden verse eieren rapen. We hebben mee mogen eten met het gezin wat zeer sfeervol was. De prive badkamer was functioneel, een grote koelkast met vriezer zeer praktisch. Plek om aan te raden!

Wij hebben 3 weken gekampeerd en het is prima bevallen zo'n prive-camping. Prachtig ruim plekje en een prachtig uitzicht. Hele vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer en -vrouw. Fijn een koelkast ter beschikking en alles bij de hand. Ook de apartementen zien er keurig uit, erg mooi en verzorgd in italiaanse stijl.
