PtitMonde: for a warm and relaxing stay!
The farmhouse built back in 1838 has been transformed into a cozy Bed & Breakfast with 5 rooms and 1 gîte for 6 persons. The recreation building The Dojo is for sports, games, art and recreation and also for workshops.
Our small camp site is intended for nature lovers and peace seekers
PtitMonde is ideally situated near the Col de Bonhomme, the Hohneck, and the lakes of Xonrupt Longemer and Gérardmer. From our terrace it is possible to see the Route de Crêtes. If you are outdoor-lovers in search of absolute tranquility, this is the place to be in order to rest and recuperate. After all the work we put into our yard, it is now a beautiful sunny garden, perfect for a relaxing moment in the sun; by the pond, in the hammock, on the grass or in one of the many sitting areas in the shade. If you want to play ping-pong or table football, play music or look around our mini flea market, you can go to the The Dojo.
Our winter guests will feel very much at home at PtitMonde. The ski resorts of La Bresse, Gérardmer and the Lac Blanc are close by. Next to our home you can follow a beautiful trail with snow shoes. And at the end of your day you can unwind near the fireplace in the central living room. Glühwein and hot cocoa will add to your comfort.
Food is a big deal at PtitMonde. All meals are carefully prepared with fresh products.
All the flavors and dishes that we have encountered during our travels are reflected in our meals. That is why our three course dinner is a round the world culinary trip.
Enjoy every morning our generous buffet-breakfast!
For dogs there is big a fenced play-area (900 square metres, 1,75 high)

Every year we offer a culinary “New years eve” package. In an atmosphere of "cozy all together at one table".

Rooms:
The 5 2-persons-bedrooms all have fucntionel bathrooms with a separate toilet. They form a Small World just by themselves. Every room in question refers to a place in the world that has left us beautiful and sweet memories. All the bedrooms have a view on the mountains beyond or the garden.
- “Bamako”, decorated in an African style named after the capital city of Mali. on the first floor
- Bedroom “Marrakesh” in a Moroccan Style. On the first floor.
- Indonesia is represented in “Bogor”, named after the hometown of Nathalie’s father. On the first floor.
- “Down Under” is the name of the Australian bedroom. Decorated with Aboriginal Art. On the first floor
- Lastly there “La Réunion” in reference to France’s overseas island “La Réunion" . Downstairs.
Gîte for 6 persons:
Our gîte "Grand Voyage" consists of a living room with open kitchen and three 2-person bedrooms and is fully equipped for 6 people.

- Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet.

The gite is located in the same building as the chambre d’hotes. As a gîte resident, you can use all the facilities that the chambre dhotes offers its guests: TV room, Information corner, garden, recreation room with ao piano and table tennis table, washing machine and minibar. You can also make use of the breakfast buffet and enjoy a cozy evening at the table d’hotes.

Buffet -breakfast:
Homemade bread, boiled eggs, croissants, chocolate bread, homemade brioche or fresh French bread brought to us from the local bakery, cottage cheese and muesli, tea/coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juices, homemade jams, honey, butter, cheese and cold meats.

Several evenings per week it is possible to enjoy a three course diner from our world cuisine. The flavors that we have discovered during our travels from all over the world will surprise you. The trip in your plate can take you from France to Russia, from Spain to Indonesia and from Italy all the way to Africa. Every meal is carefully prepared with fresh products, as much as possible coming from our vegetable garden.
We also provide tasteful vegetarian meals.At request we can take into account a gluten allergy. Extra costs can be charged.
