The town of Montefrío belongs to the so-called Pueblos Blancos, the famous Andalusian towns with whitewashed houses. At the top of a cliff above the town there is a church and the ruins of a Moorish castle, both worth visiting. Stroll through its ancient streets, stop at one of the local restaurants and experience the atmosphere of this historical place. Outside the city, visit an archaeological site and take part in the various festivals and events of the town.
