In a rural setting with gardens of its own, Aviary Court is in a perfect position for exploring all the attractions of the Cornish peninsular. We are close to Truro with its fine cathedral and stylish cafes. St Ives and its artists studios are a favourite day out. Twenty minutes away is St Michaels Mount and while you are in that region a visit to the Minack Theatre is a must. Another day can be spent in Falmouth discovering its fine harbour and Maritime Museum. The Cornish Heritage Mining Attractions and Trails are easy to access from Aviary Court.
Couples return year after year to the comforts of Aviary Court. The Studley family have been looking after guests for over 25 years. We offer a personal, warm, friendly but respectful service and enjoy cooking you a good honest meal in the evening and delicious cooked breakfasts to start your day. For those who wish to be more active, there is a tennis court and beautiful country woodland walks on our doorstep. By the entrance there is a twenty minute bridleway walk to Portreath beach. We are open all year round as there are many attractions still open in the winter. Winter visits to Cornwall can be wonderful with quiet touring conditions on the road, bracing walks and with any luck winter sunshine! Try visiting Godrevy nearby with spectacular unspoilt cliff top walks where often in the cove can be found a natural seal colony. Please visit our website to find out more. We have six rooms which are furnished and decorated to a high standard. All rooms are ensuite and have newly refurbished bathrooms. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided with fresh fruit, biscuits and mineral water. All rooms have two armchairs and are individually heated under your own control.
