Lion's Guesthouse is owned by a Belgian/South African couple, Els and Cornel Botha Standaert.
Lion's Guesthouse is situated in Groblersdal, the centre of the Cultural Heartland, Sekhukhune District with many natural and cultural attractions e.g. Loskop Dam nature reserve and Esther Mahlangu's Art School.
Lion's Guesthouse is easily reachable from all Groblersdal schools and only a few 100 meters away from Groblersdal CBD.

Lion’s Guesthouse offers 5 standard rooms, 3 big rooms and 1 budget room.
- The standard rooms have two single or one double bed, en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, DSTV, microwave, kettle and coffee and tea facilities
- The big rooms have two three quarter or 1 king size bed, en suite bathroom, air-conditioning, DSTV, microwave, kettle and coffee and tea facilities.
- Our budget room has 2 single beds and all the above facilities but the bathroom is a few steps down the hallway.
One of our big rooms is a very big luxurious room with a Jacuzzi bath. This is perfect as a Bridal room for the evening and day before a wedding or as a honeymoon suite.
Our Bridal Package includes the following: Overnight accommodation for the bride, a bottle sparkling wine and a platter. On the big day the bride will receive another platter to help her through the day. All served in the room. The bridesmaids are welcome to overnight together with the bride at an extra fee.
Our Honeymoon Package is designed for the night of the wedding. The bride and groom will be treated with a platter and a bottle of sparkling wine. The room is romantically decorated with flowers and everything for a relaxing bath is provided (bubble bath and a body lotion). Also included: room service breakfast for the bride and groom.
