Quinta Corcunda – Moncarapacho
Quinta Corcunda, an official 'Alojamento Local' is a small-scale holiday farm. At our Quinta, you have the choice between 5 special, and totally unique, guests accomodations. Each residence is furnished with an eye for detail and taste, and with preservation of authentic details as much as possible. Quinta Corcunda is also extremely suitable for vacation with family and friends.
The quinta is located on an estate of 3 hectares and everywhere you can walk around on the land straight into the nature. The vegetation of the quinta includes orange trees, lemon trees, fig trees, almond trees, carob trees and olive trees. Near the House there is a well, where neighbours still get drinkwater and women are doing the laundry.
The distance to Faro airport is 14 km, and in a 5-minute drive you find the villages of Moncarapacho and St. Catarina. Here there are banks, a post-office and shops. Moncarapacho has some good and cheap restaurants.
Closeby there are beautiful beaches and also lovely towns or villages to visit as Tavira, Olhao, Faro and Fuseta. Sevilla is located one and a half hours drive away.
It is important to rent a car, or if you prefer cycling, we can help you to rent a bike. Public transport is not well regulated and drives not frequent.
