The unique location makes Noord-Beveland the ideal place for a short or longer recreational stay. It is situated near the world-famous Delta works and surrounded by the North Sea, the Easter Scheldt and the Veerse Lake. Noord-Beveland is a real paradise for people wanting to avoid mass tourism.
The coast is never far away and has something to offer everyone of all ages. Sun-worshippers will enjoy the clean beaches. The active ones amongst us, will enjoy the water sports.. Whether you are a sport fisherman, surfer, a water skier, or a sailor there is always water that will suit you. Did you know that divers from all over Europe come to the unique National Park Eastern Scheldt to dive and look for the mating of the catfish.
If you love nature, there are many nature reserves in the immediate vicinity, where you will find special plants and birds. Enjoy the peace, tranquillity and space! Zeeland is a perfect place to relax. And if you love gardening: amaze yourself in the varied rose garden of Kats with more than 1000 varieties of roses!
There are numerous opportunities for recreational activities on land, such as walking, cycling and horse riding through the many wildlife areas, through the polders, the fields or along the dunes and the shoreline. Zeeland is a real biker's delight! It has an extensive network of cycle-paths. Feel the wind in your hair, the sun on your face, and enjoy the quiet of the countryside.
Zeeland has many interesting spots. For example: the Eastersheldt Strom Surge Barrier with the theme park Neeltje Jans / Berkenhof’s tropical zoo and butterfly garden / / Mini Mundi with the island on miniature.
Cities like Middelburg, Veere and Zierikzee are nearby and are places with a rich history, with beautiful historical buildings, old city walls, small picturesque harbours, interesting museums and….nice shopping areas and lovely terraces.

you will have your own private entrance with entrance- hall (with possibility to place your bicycle or a pram/buggy)
Everything is there for a comfortable stay. On the ground floor: a bright dining area , a living area ( television with some English channels and internet facilities)
The open kitchen includes an induction cooker, a microwave oven, an extractor hood, a fridge with small freezer compartment, senseo coffee machine and a water boiler and fully equiped cupboardsOn the ground floor you will also find also a large private walk in shower with wash basin and separate toilet.
Behind the old big shed-doors we have created a "loggia, a small indoor-garden/sitting area.You can enjoy the morning sun, while having your breakfast
In the attic you find two separate bedrooms.
One bedroom with two single beds side by side. The other bedroom has three single beds.The holiday home is normally being rented for weeks/weekends/mid-weeks. But your are off course welcom for a night if I have the possibility.

Prima accommodatie in een rustige buurt en leuke, zorgzame gastvrouw. Mijn man was jarig en er stond 's ochtends een fles wijn voor hem! Ook aan snoepjes voor de hond was gedacht. Addy is meer dan bereid tot het geven van tips, maar evenzo hebben wij de privacy gewaardeerd. Een aanrader voor iedereen die Zeeland wil bezoeken en niet in de laatste plaats vanwege de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Zélande, et dans ce gîte "Het Wisske", plein de charme, et où l'accueil est très chaleureux. Addy, la propriétaire, parle parfaitement le français, et nous a très gentiment donné toutes les indications pour visiter le région environnante.
